Report for the OHCHR consultation on Child Health

FI New York has submitted a report to the Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights' global civil society consultation process on the child right to health. Each year, the Human Rights Council has a full-day meeting on children's rights, and in March, the Council agreed on the theme of child health for the 2013 meeting. The OHCHR is compiling a report in consultation with all stakeholders to be presented during this meeting. In partnership with Franciscans on the ground, FI produced a report on child health in Jamaica. This document focuses on the role of parents and the education system in promoting and protecting child health.
