The side-event, that took place during the March 2015 Human Rights Council, had been convened by CIDSE, Franciscans International (FI), FIAN International, FIDH, Friends of the Earth Europe, and the International Commission of Jurists, as members of the Treaty Alliance. It sought to provide a space to discuss the EU agenda in the area of business and human rights, identify current challenges and developments, and explore opportunities arising from the Treaty process.
