Statement on Report of the Special Rapporteur on Contemporary Forms of Slavery
In September 2010, during the Human Rights Council 15th Session, Franciscan’s International, Global Alliance against Traffic in Women, and Anti-Slavery International submitted a written statement on the Report of the Special Rapporteur on Contemporarty Forms of Slavery. The Statement highlighted the three NGO's specific concern: the Treatment of Domestic Workers by diplomatic personnel.
Written Statement on Togo
In February 2010, Franciscans International (FI), the Fédération Internationale de l’Action des Chrétiens pour l’Abolition de la Torture (FIACAT), Survie and Agir Ensemble pour les Droits de l’homme (AEDH) submitted a written statement to express their concern on the uprising tensions in Togo that are occuring in due to the approaching presidential elections of 28 February 2010.
Written Statement on Haiti
In January 2010, during the Special Session of the UN Human Rights Council, FI submitted a joint written statement on the emergency situation that Haiti was facing after the disastrous earthquake of 12 of January.
